“If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.” ~Maya Angelou
As we step into 2022, it’s good to take inventory of the year gone by. For Giesler this is an exciting and invigorating time where we can stop, recognize, and celebrate the fruits of our labor and its significance in planning for the future.
In 2021, we launched our social marketing campaigns, expanding our presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. With daily posts and weekly blog posts, we are consistently adding thought leadership and expert commentary to topics affecting our customers. Our newly redesigned website was launched just last Monday!
Eager to network and rekindle visions and connections, we hit the best conferences of 2021: AFCEA TechNet Augusta, NDIA Gold Coast, SOFIC Forum, Cyber Week Georgia, CDCA Charleston, and C4ISR Symposium in San Diego. We worked the crowd merrily making new friends and reconnecting with old.
Overall, the year 2021 was a year of strategic positioning, growth, and transformation, instead of seeing things fall apart, we saw them “fall together”. Giesler won a prime spot on the SeaPort-NxG contract vehicle, thanks to our talented proposal team. We celebrated 1-year anniversaries and welcomed two new teammates. Retired Captain Jim Darenkamp joined the team as our Chief Technology Officer & Solutions Architect in March and retired Captain Herman Archibald “Arch” joined us as Giesler’s Chief Growth Officer this past July. Both Jim and Arch are now contributing their unparalleled expertise, domain knowledge, leadership skills, and personal depth to our growing projects.
We listened to each other. We listened to you, our customers. Together we are expanding the width and breadth of the services we are trusted for and hold tight to the values which earned that trust; the excellent level of technical, business, and industry expertise, and the customer-for-life attitude.
Finally, we would like to say thank you to our clients for choosing Giesler and being a vital part of our growth in 2021. We have so many new and exciting things happening in 2022 so make sure to ‘like’ and follow us on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and visit our webpage for our weekly blog posts, news updates, job opportunities and much more!
