May 18, 2021 | AFCEA, INDOPACOM
AFCEA’s Technet Indo-Pacific annual conference was presented virtually this year. Admiral Philip S. Davidson, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, set the stage with the first keynote address of the event, laying the groundwork for many of the sessions to come.
The overall theme of the conference is how to regain a position of strength in the region to help protect free and open access to air, sea, land, space, and cyberspace routes in the area. They involve 4 factors: increasing joint force lethality, enhancing force design and posture, strengthen allies and partners, and exercises, experimentation, and innovation among allies and partners. This includes increasing communication and integration using artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, and 5G. The results hope to provide a strong inter-operable joint network for allies and partners to work in the Indo-Pacific region more effectively.
AFCEA’s Technet Indo-Pacific continues March 2-3rd. You can still register to access the rest of the sessions and watch recordings On-Demand at https://show.jspargo.com/hawaii20/reg/default.asp.
